Machine builder / Assembler

Summary of Responsibilities

JETECH INTERNATIONAL is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-pressure pumps and pumping systems up to 1,000 horse power for the water blasting industry.
Jetech has open for positions in our machine assembly/building department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand and perform basic wiring and plumbing of large diesel industrial/mobile equipment.
• Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, bills of materials, and other written or verbal instructions to accurately assemble equipment.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools such as screw and drill guns, tape measure, etc.
• Perform quality checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
• Rework and/ or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Operate forklifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of mechanical assembly may be required.
• Basic reading and math skills. Must be able to follow written instructions.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea.
• High attention to detail.
• Self-motivated.

Physical Demands and Abilities

• Regularly lift up to 50lbs.
• Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
• Possess manual dexterity to put parts and pieces together quickly and accurately.

Work Environment

• Plant floor characterized by loud noises.
• The individual must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings and with employees, management, customers and suppliers.
• 5 days working week.
• Flexible and additional hours as required.
