TAPT Rotating High Pressure Gun
The
new TAPT Rotating High Pressure Gun represents the latest technology
in tool design for the water-jetting industry. This product is destined to be
a standard in the industry. The rotation helps turbo power the product
removal. The rotating nozzle is so effective that cleaning rates dramatically
improve while opportunities for reducing pump pressure are possible.
The construction of the TAPT includes a high pressure swivel assembly, an air motor, and a dual-(front and rear) trigger assembly. The drive motor may be powered by a small, portable compressor providing a minimum of 80 PSI at 20 CFM. The TAPT utilizes a high pressure coned and threaded water inlet connection.
The TAPT is capable of handling up to 40,000 PSI (2760 BAR) pressure, and rotation up to 3000 RPM, and flows up to 6 GPM (23 L/M).
At just over 11 LBS., the TAPT is lightweight for operator use, helping to reduce fatigue. The dual trigger (front and rear) is an important safety feature that helps protect against dangerous accidental movements of the gun. The high pressure inlet coupling is protected by a stainless steel sheath-type shield.
The gun is available with a tumblebox which offers two different valve options - either a shut-off type (TAPT-S) or a dump type (TAPT-D). Both units offer a sturdy, welded outer frame for protection and mobility. The TAPT-S is an air-to-open valve arrangement which will shut-off flow specifically for use in an intensifier system. This tumblebox arrangement includes a filter/regulator/lubricator assembly and an airstream shut-off valve. The TAPT-D is an air-to-close valve arrangement which will dump water to atmosphere for use in plunger pump service. This unit also includes a filter/regulator/lubricator assembly, a dump diffuser, and an airstream shut-off valve. The TAPT Rotating High Pressure Gun may be fitted with numerous nozzle head options, which may be accessed via a 9/16" button-style fitting.
