In these two lance models there are only two parts that require maintenance: one internal moving wear part and one fixed part.  These parts are easily accessible without tools through JETECH^®'s exclusive hinged trigger guard.  The trigger operating position can be adjusted to suit the individual operator's requirements and can also be adjusted to compensate for normal wear. 

In these two models all pressure water connections are the coned and threaded type.  Provided with each lance in the 980 DG series is a six (6) foot hose whip which serves as the intermediary connection between the high pressure pump line and the lance inlet port. 

These lances are actuated by the trigger mechanism.  This closes the internal passage to the dump port and causes all of the water to be directed to the nozzle with resultant pressure increase.  With this design, very little force is required to hold the trigger in the operating position. 

In the 983 DG model (20,000 PSI) the nozzle block has provisions for installing nozzles with a 1/4" NPT thread.  In the 984 DG the nozzle block has been constructed to accept nozzles of the sapphire orifice style. 

The standard barrel length of the DG series is 48" but other dimensions have been provided.  The weight of the DG series is 16 LBS. 

These two lances in the 980 DG series are the workhorses of the line - built for durability and ease of maintenance.
