The unique water-to-water intensifier units, called the DA-Series, are rated to 40,000 psi (DA-4D) and have been introduced to the excitement of users and contractors alike.
The DA-4D and DA-8D offer many advantages over oil-to-water intensifiers. This unit was designed to be used in harmony with your 10k or smaller unit and can boost pressure 4:1 and 8:1 respectively. As a pressure booster the DA-Series can offer instant access to the "ultra high world" for a fraction of what an oil-to-water intensifier unit would cost.
Now, JETECH® is introducing the 250H3-UH, a triplex crankshaft-driven pump rated to 40,000 psi.
Contractors and users can have their choice of technology in ultra-high pressure pumping. There are advantages to each product depending on the application and practical circumstances that surround the purchase decision. The Model 250 H3-UH triplex crankshaft-driven power pump
JETECH®'s Ultra-high 250H3-UH pump is the latest crankshaft-driven power pump in our line. Pressures of 40,000 psi in a power pump are by definition "Ultra-high". As such, these pressures and resultant forces are very hard on mechanical equipment. As a user or operator of the pump, you need reliability, easy maintenance and safety.
JETECH®'s successful 30k line of equipment has helped forge the experience base for the next step - the 40k. We knew that customers would expect the same features in the 40k that they have enjoyed in the 20k and 30k pumps. The 250H3-UH has a sturdy compact design profile with a continuous 21,000 lb. frame load capability. This pump is capable of producing 6.35 gpm at 40,000 psi, 8.29 gpm at 35,000 psi and 10.57 at 30,000 psi with a maximum speed of 500 rpm. With this expansive hydraulic range this new pump is destined to become the standard by which ultra-high equipment is judged.
Construction Features
Liquid End Features
JETECH®'s advanced designed liquid ends are
precision-machined to exacting tolerances and feature segmented
cylinders of the axial compression single-bore design. This feature
helps to eliminate undesirable bore intersections and cylinder tensile
stresses which are known to be a major factor in pump cylinder failure
Single Spring Valves
JETECH®'s unique single-spring radial compression
inline valve cartridge design eliminates the traditional discharge
valve spring required in other plunger pumps. Since only one spring
serves both suction and discharge valves, the single-spring feature
effectively reduces the possibility of valve spring breakage up to 50%
over two spring units.
Plungers
The plungers are manufactured from corrosion resistant material
and machined to exacting tolerance of nominal O.D. (+0.000/-0.001)
inches. JETECH®'s 060 Nickel-Chromium-Boron
fused hard coating is applied with a minimum coating thickness of 25
mils and minimum surface hardness of 60 Rc. Plungers are ground to a
smooth surface finish of 8 RMS to provide long packing life.
Packing
The pump is designed to accommodate a broad spectrum of packing
arrangements. The standard arrangement is the non-adjustable
spring-loaded style which is fitted with a combination of "vee"
and JETECH® flat backed chevron rings of
ultra-high molecular density material to withstand high pulsing loads.
The packing rings are supported by a special JETECH®"Com-Bronze"
ring designed to control and compress under pressure to maintain
proper ring to plunger clearance.
Power End Features
The 250H3-UH pump has a rugged field-proven
power frame manufactured from close grain cast iron. This power frame
or "gear end" has been designed with conservative design
parameters and able to handle continuous operation.
The 250H3-UH frame has a compact profile and is
engineered with a short stroke travel. This permits precise alignment
between pony rods, plungers and stuffing boxes which is critical in
achieving maximum packing life.
The frames exceptionally high continuous plunger load rating of
21,000 lbs. permits the liquid end to be fitted with large diameter
plungers. This will allow high capacity output with nominal crankshaft
speeds. This high plunger load is accomplished by design of a high
safety factor ratio for the steel crankshaft and the positioning of a
bearing between each throw of the crank.
