MODEL 100J5-RO
INTRODUCTION:
The JETECH Model 100J5-RO line of pumpsrepresents a new era of high efficiency, ultra-easy maintenance pumps for the charge pump application in Reverse Osmosis systems.
This pump is designed to run at electric motor synchronous speeds, and as such it can be directly connected to an electric motor through a flexible drive coupling. Sheaves and belts are not required.
PUMP DETAILS:
The Model 100J5-RO is designed with a crankshaft extension on one side of the pump, which can be used for either a right or left-hand drive. The unique feature of this unit is the "f low through" water cooling of the power end of the pump. Under suction pressure, the inlet water goes into the crankcase and up through the plunger rods to the suction valves. Water is continuously cooling and lubricating the internal bearings. No oil or grease is used in this pump and as such, eliminates any possibility of membrane fouling due to those products.The vertical design, with the fluid end above the power end, makes for easy inspection and maintenance. Each cylinder has a separate manifold, so each can be removed individually.
Other construction design improvements in this Quintuplex Plunger Pump, is the totally stainless steel connecting rods rather than cast iron with wrist pin bearings that water passes through for cooling and lubricating.
All tie bolts are nickel coated to prevent rust and corrosion as well as ease of assembly and disassembly to shorten down time for maintenance.
The new flow through cooling system utilizing the water being pumped to cool the plungers and packing, eliminating the need for external plunger spray cooling water to the liquid end.
NOTE: For direct connection to an electric motor, use 90% mechanical efficiency
